Food Transportation
Use a hot bag to keep food at the right temperature, and keep pizzas lying flat in a pizza bag for an optimal delivery experience!
Communication
Report any accidents right away! You won’t be charged for remakes, and honesty ensures customers get what they ordered. Never deliver spilled food without letting the restaurant or customer know.
Proper Equipment
Did you know? Carrying food on an unstable surface (like hanging from your handles) increases the chances food will spill, which will likely result in the cancellation of the order!
Restaurant & Customer Experience
Being polite goes a long way! Saying hello with a smile can set you up for success by letting the restaurant know you are kindly waiting for your order. Restaurants will appreciate your professional attitude!
With the Customer
Stay professional to keep deliveries smooth! Greet customers with a smile, say their name, and keep communication brief. If you can’t reach them, contact the restaurant or driver support.
Being a Good Neighbor
Some people aren’t fans of bikes in their neighborhood (we know, it’s silly). But you can avoid negative feedback by being a good neighbor! Here’s how:
Follow the Law
Always follow the law and make sure you’re riding with the flow of traffic, in bike lines when available, and never on the sidewalk Do not cross red lights, follow street signs and ride/drive carefully!
Be Mindful
Do not park your bike on a sidewalk or anywhere that might block pedestrian traffic.
Keep Spaces Clean
Do not litter, instead ask a restaurant if you may use their trash if public trash is not an option.
