Since our founding in 2014, Relay has proudly connected local restaurants with hundreds of thousands of diners with the help of professional, independent couriers like you. We had hoped to continue our mission of providing optimized, low-cost delivery logistics for restaurants and predictable earnings for couriers like you well into the future.
However, we are no longer able to operate a sustainable business in our key market of New York City.
As a result, on April 1, 2026, Relay’s delivery operations in NYC will end and your agreement with Relay will terminate.
We know that this may impact your plans, so we wanted to give you as much advanced notice as possible. You may continue to accept deliveries via the Relay app until April 1st.
In the meantime, we encourage you to begin transitioning to another third party delivery app. Keep in mind that some platforms may have waitlists to deliver in certain areas – for that reason, we encourage you to begin the process soon.
